We are back in a neighboring village at Olan Mills for our yearly portrait on the portrait plan. Big Sister Miss Merry, my brother Tom and my other brother Andy. I am guessing 1963 or 1964 and my first grade year based on my lack of front teeth. Still rocking the high cut bangs.

If this doesn't say 1963 or 1964 I don't know what does--a very sweet Olan Mills photo, Miss Merry! You are rockin' that "losing your baby teeth" smile :^)
ReplyDeleteSo fun seeing those old photos. I used to rock those bangs too!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you weren't self-conscious about your smile! And your teeth kept on growing, just like the rest of you!
ReplyDeleteYou rock those bangs like a pro!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun pic and a lovely family portrait!
ReplyDeleteFun photo!!
ReplyDeleteOMG. You gotta love those missing teeth photos,
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! In 1964, I graduated from high school and then enrolled at the University of Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old photos, Miss Merry.
ReplyDeleteMy Monday post is up but unfortunately didn't show up on the Blogger news reader.
I mentioned this on my post so that people will be aware of the issues.
You look so beautiful in the photo.
I hope you have a lovely week ahead.
A treasured photo.
ReplyDeleteThose high cut bangs were my nemesis and my sister's too. Hers were worse from a cowlick she had! Fun! I should do a Memory Monday, that would be so fun to do! You have great ideas....
ReplyDeleteSweet photo! ❣️Virginia
ReplyDeleteI think every Photo was done by Olan Mills back in those days. We never had a Family Portrait done that was professional, I Wish we had. But, my Parents didn't even own a Family Camera to take regular Photos, we always had to borrow an Old Brownie from one of my Parent's Friends. So most Pixs of us growing up were rare and for my Parents, even Rarer. I don't think my Dad ever had a Photo taken until he joined the Military! And my Native American Grandmother always looked so Serious becoz she felt like the Photographs took some of the Soul, so she didn't like being Photographed at all.
