my brothers and mother.
Easter 1984 with my four oldest children and a collection of
cabbage patch dolls and care bears.
Baby Brother was born nine months later.

ReplyDeleteI only remember Care Bears too well! They were out of my price range at the time, so I learned to sew and made our own which turned out pretty good. 60 pieces of fur fabric I had to cut and sew together! I did it at night when the boys were asleep and so they could have their own Care Bears!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE your Mother's teetery little posture in (please tell me it was a "sack" dress---the nouveau Sixties' garment which touched only bust and hips---very chic. And your brothers, with their Easter suits still on, delving into those baskets of goodies!! Exactly the same at my house, but mine were probably all under four.
