It is a rainy Friday here at the Merry house. But the games are ready to begin.
Yes that is me. Two trips to the home improvement store this week.
This is a collage of paint chips next to the shower surround and cabinet in different lights. I came to a decision. Who knows what looks best, let's pick by name. The wall color will be Mystic Moon. Who wants a bathroom named "Light Fog" or "Pebble Gray", which actually looks more lavender than gray.
I have no idea what is in this cart but it was the final trip (I hope).
It looks like a pink Christmas this year.
I am very confused why someone would buy a box of frozen grilled cheese sandwiches. Really?
I skipped the grilled cheese and bought roses for the girls and myself for only $3.99.
Okay, that wraps up a rainy afternoon. Tonight, the last shower in the old bathroom. My wrecking crew is coming early Saturday morning. I am going to brunch with friends and then driving to the city to hang out in craft stores and coffee houses so I don't hear the crashes.
* It was not a wrap up. It is now Friday evening in real time and I am in a truck headed out of town to the nearest home improvement store. *
Oh Miss Merry, you do make me smile. Please hang in there, can't wait to see the finished product. Meanwhile those frozen grilled cheese sandwiches I want them. 😄👍

I love this poem!!! Thank you for making me laugh. They are moving pretty quickly. The ceiling came down at 7:30 am, the wiring is finished and the ceiling is up. There is only studs and wiring currently and the tub comes out tomorrow. So it is moving ahead of even my schedule!

ReplyDeleteFrozen Grilled Cheese Sammies... my, my, that takes lazy Homemaker to a whole new level even I haven't attained! *LOL* Picking out Paint Colors, I feel ya on that one... tho' The Man loves the Home Improvement Stores, I am in and out in those kinds of places, except when I need to pick out Paint Colors. I've always been happy with my choices, but agonized over each one. Mystic Moon is a great Name for a very nice Choice.
