Ketchup

 Just a quick "ketchup".

Doctor confirmed small fracture of nose. Also said it is still swollen (she should have seen it before!). For now we are going to continue to ice it and see how it looks once it is back to normal.  Which I can tell you now is just a little crooked and barely noticeable with my glasses. In my nonmedical opinion - I'm good to go.

She did schedule another Dexa Bone Scan since I guess it's time already? And I am so good at falling!

Still haven't started listening to my podcasts so I know what I am doing this weekend.

We are prepping for the second big bathroom haul at the home improvement store this Saturday. I can't believe we are finally this far along with the project. And by far along I mean just purchasing the materials. Woo hoo.

Other than that, not much new.

  1. Maybe you can just figure it adds character to your contenence. :-) I'm glad it's not hurting anymore. Or is it? I sure hope not. I haven't had a bone scan in years. I'm kind of surprised that I haven't been scheduled for one since we moved back here. In Spokane my primary dr. sent me every other year once I reached 50 and I take omeprazole daily, which I guess isn't good for bones.
Take care my friend and have fun shopping.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  3. I just finished up another bone scan and since we build bones between the ages of 10 and something like 25 or 30 yr old...that time is past for me by many years! I am looking at a treatment and I know you follow what I am doing, so I will let you know how that goes.
Sounds like you need to catch up on your podcasts!

OHHH, and I am happy that your nose might just be fine after all and don't need another adjustment to it!

  6. Good to know you are good to go. We stored our bathroom remodel material for seven! years before we finally had it done. We don't just jump into things around here.

  7. Oh I'm so sorry about your nose, Merry, that hurts so bad! My eyes are watering thinking about it. What are you doing with your bathroom? I am wanting to redo my powder room, I mentioned on A DEBBIE-DABBLE CHRISTMAS that my bathroom has carpet and I hate it. I need to call my carpet cleaner in Yonkers, NY to come try and make it better. But I hope you recover well. Have a great day!

  8. Oh no, sorry to hear you had a fall. Sorry about the broken bone. Hope you're back to normal soon! Good luck with 2nd big bathroom haul. We had our bathroom redone last winter and it took longer than we thought; but it's sure nice now. Next project for us is replacing windows. We've selected replacements, and have been measured, we're waiting to hear when they'll be installed. I had hoped that would have been done by now. Hope it's not too much longer.

  11. I'm glad you got it looked at and hopefully your Healing is complete soon and it doesn't affect breathing or make you feel self-conscious about how it heals. As for the Bathroom Remodel, full speed ahead and we'll be wanting pictures.
